Are you looking to update your curb appeal? For less than $20, you can do one thing that completely changes the look of your house.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you may remember this photo from last year. Yes, one year ago. I posted on our Facebook page that I was looking to update the front of the house by simply painting our front door. At the time, we lived in our house for 10 years and hadn’t changed one thing out front. My original thought was to paint the door green to coordinate with the chairs. I got a lot of suggestions and last fall, I finally purchased paint for the door – Sherwin Williams Quixotic Plum!

Since the fall, I also purchased this Monogram Initial Door Sign on GroopDealz (sorry, it’s not available right now) and some ribbon at Hobby Lobby. We had some nice weather the past month and the door is finally painted and door sign hung!

So, for less than $30 (paint, initial and ribbon), I have a new look and love it! It’s amazing how one little change can make it look so different.

I still want to get a couple of big planters for each side of the door, but those will come.
