We have another new (to me) money saving app. This one is called Jingit! It works the same way as Ibotta, Checkout 51, SavingStar, Shopmium, and Snap. You may recall that I mentioned this new app in My Weekly Shopping last week. I wanted to try it out fully before I shared it with you. I am happy to say that I had $3.50 deposited into my account after my trip to Walmart.
There are three ways to earn with Jingit.
1. Check-in at your favorite stores. Download the free mobile app. Open the app when you enter an eligible store (CVS, Kmart, Kroger, Target, Walgreens, Walmart). Select the store from the main screen and you will see “check-in” offers. (Note: you will need to have your location services enabled.)
2. Scan products for instant cash back. Once you are in an eligible store, select that store in the app. You may see cash back offers for simply scanning a specific product. I got $0.25 for scanning a Speed Stick deodorant last weekend.
3. Purchase products and earn cash! Open your Jingit app and select an available offer. Click on “Reserve”. Purchase the product and submit your receipt within 24 hours to earn your cash back. There are brand specific products as well as general category offers (ie: $1 off $5 purchase of garbage bags, $0.25 cash back on milk, and more).
Once you have received $5 in your account, you can redeem it for a $5 Target or Walmart gift card (click on “Wallet”)! I also saw $10 Sephora, Cabela’s, or AMC Theaters gift cards available.
The best thing about all of the apps is that you may have similar offers between them for even better savings!
