Stitch Fix Review: Fix #7 (October 2016)

I took a little break from Stitch Fix this summer, but when the temperatures started changing a couple weeks ago I knew it was time to schedule one! My closet definitely needed an update so I requested a pair of medium wash jeans with minor distressing (my first pair!), casual long sleeve tops and a lightweight jacket or vest with a hood. the fix arrived on Friday and my new stylist Britt knocked it out of the park! Skies are Blue Keeva Plaid Back Pullover. I have to admit that even though plaid is all the rage this fall, I wasn’t sure about this top. The plaid on the back reminds me of a shirt I wore in high school and I just wasn’t thrilled with the blue/green combo. I also kind of wish it didn’t have a fitted hem on the bottom. I actually may end up selling this one if I don’t grab for it.

Market & Spruce Edmond Henley Knit Top. This top is really soft and comfortable and the pattern is nice, too. It would look great with black dress pants. But, I can’t remember the last time I wore dress pants since I stay home with my boys and spend my time chasing after them or at the gym. This is the top I ended up selling, and I’m sure it’s new owner will love it!

Loveappella Malbec Elbow Patch Knit Top. I was super excited to see this because I actually have it pinned. It was a little short in the sleeves and torso so I am sizing up. And, speaking of sizing up, Stitch Fix has a new option at checkout. You can now request an exchange when you checkout instead of emailing Customer Service and waiting of a response. You just put in the request and send back the item you need an exchange on. They send you the new one without any additional shipping charges. And, if it still doesn’t work out, you can return it for a refund!

Pistola Tory Distressed Ankle Zip Skinny Jean. I have a terrible time finding pants that fit me well. First, I have short legs, but petites are usually too short. And, I carry weight in my hips and thighs but have a small waist so pants tend to gap. These jeans fit amazingly! I desperately needed a pair in a medium wash and was hoping for a little distressing since I don’t have any. When I put these on, I knew they would be added to my closet. I love them and am wearing them in every picture in this post.

Coffeeshop Krita Jacket. I’m not a huge army green fan, but it works for me. I love the option to cinch at the waist and a hood was a must have on my list. The other part I love is that you won’t get air up your sleeves because there is an extra piece of fabric that hugs your wrists. I have a North Face black jacket and a Columbia coat that I wear in the winter when it gets really cold, but I was looking for a jacket for Fall and this definitely fits the bill. This was a must keep for me, too!
