My Weekly Shopping – Week #8!

We are on week #8 of My Weekly Shopping! Remember, my goal is to spend no more than $50 per week on groceries, cleaning supplies, baby products, and dog food/treats. I’ve been very happy with my last 3 weeks – all under $50 – yay, me!

I did two transactions – the first one was just the Pop Tarts so I could use the gift card in my second transaction.

Total Spent: $8.59, Saved $20.42 plus I got $1.00 via Checkout 51 for Kellogg’s Pop Tarts and $2.49 in my Shopmium account for the Lindt Chocolate. (79% savings)

And, I got a $2 Catalina for buying 3 Kellogg’s products (I wasn’t totally expecting this so I didn’t split up my transactions)

Total Spent $21.64, Saved $30.04 plus I’m getting $2.75 from Ibotta, $1 from Checkout 51, $1.69 from SavingStar and I have a $2 catalina for my next trip. (62% Savings)

WEEKLY TOTAL: Spent $37.00, Saved $59.39!

My reaction:

I was very happy with this week’s shopping – stayed under budget again! I still have a couple freebies at Kroger that I couldn’t find…maybe next time.
