How to Use the $5/$25 Purchase Saturday Coupon

I’ve had questions about how the $5/$25 Purchase Saturday Dollar General digital coupon works. It’s super easy, so I want to show you how to use your coupon and clear up any misunderstandings with it.

You’ll find your $5/$25 Purchase Saturday coupon loaded into the digital coupons section of the Dollar General website and app on Sundays. Click the + sign by the coupon to add it to your saved coupons. This coupon can be used on your next Saturday purchase. You do NOT need to make a purchase first to use this coupon. When you check out, make sure you have them ring up all your purchases BEFORE you put in your phone number to redeem your coupons. If you put your phone number in first, you run the risk of the coupons for each individual item coming off first. That means your $5 coupon won’t come off because your purchase will be under $25.

On Saturdays, we have Dollar General Saturday Deals you can do to use this coupon and save a LOT on your purchase. Sometimes, the savings can be as much as $20 off! Make sure you bookmark our so you can check back every Friday to see the upcoming Saturday deal.

When you shop at Dollar General, you will see a coupon at the bottom of your receipt for $5 off a $25 purchase. You can use this coupon on Saturdays OR you can use the digital coupon. You do not need to make a purchase to get the receipt coupon to use on Saturdays. Your Saturday digital coupon is already online and ready to be saved to your account to be used on Saturday.

How Can I Use my $5/$25 Saturday Coupon with Other Coupons?

If you look at your $5/$25 Saturday coupon, you’ll see it says the coupon cannot be used with other $2, $3 and $5 off store coupons. That means, for example, you can’t use this coupon with the $5/$30 Gain purchase store coupon. It does NOT prohibit you from using this with coupons for individual items, like the $2 off CoverGirl coupon. Those are manufacturer’s coupons. That means they can be used in the same transaction with your $5/$25 purchase Saturday coupon.
