Disclaimer: I received a family admission to Daytona Lagoon Waterpark and Entertainment Center in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are 100% my own.
Headed to the Atlantic Coast in northern Florida? Visiting St. Augustine, Daytona, Cocoa Beach or even Orlando? Need a day away from the beach or something to do when the weather isn’t cooperating?
Daytona Lagoon is a water park and entertainment center located in Daytona Beach, Florida and the perfect location for fun!
Our family spent a week in Ormond Beach, Florida and had a chance to spend one of those days at Daytona Lagoon. Accoring to my boys (ages 9 and 6), it was the highlight of our trip!
The Water Park features five slides, a lazy river, wave pool, and a kid-friendly water area for those under 54 inches. As you can see from the pics, it was not very busy on the day we were there. The weather was a little on the cool side (low 60s) so we didn’t spend as much time in the water park as we would have had it been warmer, but it was very clean, freshly painted and up to date.
Since it was the end of March when we visited, they had limited operating hours with only a couple of the slides open, but that didn’t stop my boys from having fun. They were the perfect size and age to enjoy everything – still under the height requirement to play in the kid-friendly area but also tall enough to go on the slides and in the wave pool.
The Family Entertainment Center includes an arcade, rock wall, mini golf, laser tag, go karts, sky maze, and island hopper ride. We spent most of our time between laser tag, mini golf and the rock wall. My boys LOVE laser tag and probably played at least 20 times! I played with them for the first time and had so much fun, too. Now, I know why they like it so much.
The mini golf course was well kept and freshly painted. Some of the holes were really unique, too, which was fun since we play quite a bit of mini golf.
While my youngest is quite the dare devil and loves anything with a little adventure, my oldest is usually a little more timid. Not this time! He absolutely loved the rock wall. There were four courses, and both boys made it to the top on all of them.
Have an upcoming birthday? Daytona Lagoon also has four Birthday Party Rooms perfect for your celebration. The best part is that they do pretty much all the work!
Each party includes:
- 1 Hour Party Room Rental
- Party Host for 1 Hour
- Balloon Bouquet (5 balloons)
- Party Paper Goods
- 2 Slices of Cheese Pizzas and Soda per child
- Party Invitations (available for download via email once purchased)
- Goody Bags
- Bring your own cake (No other outside food or beverage permitted, no exception)
The birthday boy or girl also gets a water park and mini golf ticket to use on another visit as well as the chance to win up to 6000 redemption tickets. And, if you have more than one birthday child, they can get the same benefits for just an additional $10.
Our family had a great day at Daytona Lagoon, and I highly recommend spending the day there if you are in the Daytona Beach area!
