July 6, 2017 at 10:09 amGood Morning, Amber …AS OF 7/6/17 – ibotta has updated their rebate app under the exclusions to now say “NO TRIAL SIZES”. They must’ve made a mistake previously, as I did buy 2 & submit them through ibotta back on 7/4/17. However, when I saw the app was back again (via KrazyCouponLady’s site) I was going to get 2 more. Something made me read the 40+ comments and nearly ALL said it now has the exclusion in it, as many couldn’t purchase. A few even said that ibotta did work, but then it was reversed. I’ve never heard of it reversing before. I’m not worried about mine being reversed, as I’ve already cashed out, since I reached a substantial amount. Not having anything to do with this rebate, as I cashed out yesterday (prior to knowing it was back again). That’s the great thing about ibotta, when you cash out via PayPal it’s in your PayPal account almost immediately. So there’s no money for them to reverse. Plus, my original rebate didn’t have the exclusion -though I now have no way of proving that since they’ve updated it. It does still say in the upper portion of the details “any size/variety”, but if you scroll down to the exclusions, it NOW SAYS: “no trial sizes” …so buyer beware! According to those 40+ people …I don’t think ibotta will honor it anymore. I’ve decided not to try since they updated, and mine now says the same thing. Oh well …at least I got it when I did. Though I didn’t need it, as I’m donating them along with several other items I recently got for FREE to our local Downtown Rescue Mission. That’s the great thing about “extreme couponing” ….if you’re like me & don’t have a lot of money to donate because of being on SSDI, then this is an alternative way to donate. It only costs a little time (shopping), gas (dropping off donation) and maybe a small amount of cash (taxes on some items). So even after having given away to family & friends some of the freebies I’ve gotten …I still have too many to store, so this is a WIN-WIN! Have a blessed day! O:-) <
