Disclosure: My family was given four passes to Fritz’s Adventure for our honest review. All opinions are my own.
Fritz’s Adventure – Branson, MO
Branson, Missouri has become a new favorite destination for our family! It’s about a 6.5 hour drive from Central Illinois so we can easily make a long weekend trip out of it. And, there is a TON to do there year-round. Our first trip was last August when we spent a day at the beach, saw the Amazing Pets Show, visit The Titanic exhibit and went to Fritz’s Adventures. It was a great trip, but there was still so much that we didn’t get to see or do so we knew that we wanted to go back. Really, I can’t believe I had never been here before!
When we told our boys we were going back to Branson over the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend in January, they immediately asked if we were going to Fritz’s again! They had so much fun there in August and couldn’t wait to go back. On our last trip, we spent about six hours at Fritz’s, and the boys were exhausted. Since this trip was going to be in the winter months, we knew this definitely going on our itinerary for them to burn off some energy (plus, we love it, too!).
So, what is there to do at Fritz’s Adventure?
Underground Tunnels
There is just something that kids love about running through tunnels, and they are underground at Fritz’s! As my kiddos run through the tunnels (because, let’s face it, I’ll do that once or twice, but my back and legs can’t handle much more of it. lol!), they always end up making friends with other kids and creating their own games. This group of boys played for over an hour together which meant mom and dad got to rest for a bit!
Laser Room
Our whole family loved the laser room on this trip! You can play by yourself or with a teammate and have two different game options – Laser Maze where you are trying to avoid the beams or Beam Buster where you are trying to hit all of the beams. We liked both options and played them each multiple times.
Ropes Course
There are two ropes courses – one of the kiddos under 48” and one for anyone 48” and over. On this trip, we were all able to do the larger, 3-story course. Once you are in your harness, you are free to go about the course for approximately 20 minutes. The course includes a variety of obstacles where you can challenge yourself as well as a zipline! It’s definitely a favorite for my husband and I. The boys went through once, but I think it was too “structured” for them. They would rather run all over!
Downtown Fritz
Downtown Fritz includes a huge climbing wall that looks like the outside of an industrial building and two utility poles you are able to climb while attached to a harness. If you choose the wall, you have three path options varying in difficulty. Don’t forget to ring the bell
Sky Fall
My husband and I also got to experience Sky Fall this time! What is Sky Fall you ask? You climb up 36 feet, are suspended in the air, and then the staff member pulls a ripcord and you free fall to safe landing. It was awesome and if you get the chance to do it, you should!
And more!
Also included in the General Admission price are giant slides, treehouses, suspended bridges, aerial tunnels, warped walls, Fritz’s Forest, interactive floor, and container mazes!
If that isn’t enough to keep you busy for a full day, there are two other things that I haven’t mentioned because they are only open in warmer months. I’m hoping to check out Fritz’s Via Ferrata (an outdoor climbing adventure) and Fritz’s Aerodium on our next visit!
