I saw this idea on Pinterest a long time ago, but maybe you haven’t so I want to share it with you! Buy this book and give it to your child’s teachers throughout grade school, junior high and high school. Have them write a short note to your child about their year as well as an encouragement for them. Then, give it to them to keep at their high school graduation. It can be hard to track down all of your kids’ high school teachers for this project, so another option is to give it to your child after they complete 8th grade.
I have been doing this since my daughter was in Kindergarten. I love reading what her teachers write and hope she will enjoy it when she is older. I’m planning on giving it to her for her 8th grade graduation.
