Our Favorite Dr. Seuss Books for Read Across America Week!
Did you know that next week is Read Across America Week? This week is dedicated to encouraging children and teens to read!! I just learned about this a couple years ago when my oldest son started Kindergarten. The week always ends with Dr. Seuss’s birthday and our school always plays it up with special days – crazy socks day, hat day, mismatched clothes day, etc.
This year, my 2nd grader’s teacher is inviting parents to come in and read with a small group of children on Monday morning and I couldn’t be more excited. I love to spend time at school with my boys and see what really goes on there all day.
