When I was working a full-time job outside of the house, I had a very extensive beauty routine each morning – shower, wash/blow dry/straighten my hair, makeup application, lotion, etc. Now, that I work from home and there are days I don’t even leave my house, I have to be honest – it’s a good day if I have done my makeup or hair. This is definitely something I want to be better about. I’ve heard that your productivity increases when you are dressed your best. So, imagine if I just got ready each day? haha!
One thing that always makes me feel better, even if I do nothing else, is washing my face. I think that comes from my mom. She always washes her face morning and night. The other thing I always heard from my mom – “Don’t touch your face.” I think about this all the time when I catch myself with my hands near my face.
