Stila Dupe

My favorite brand of liquid eyeshadow is Stila. They have so many great shades, it goes on smoothly, and I love sparkly they are. But, they are pricey at $24 each (pro tip: check your TJ Maxx because I find this eyeshadow there from time to time for around $5). So, I was excited to find an affordable Stila dupe!

The Elf Liquid Eyeshadow in Disco Queen looks very similar in color to the Stila Liquid Eyeshadow in Perlina. I gave them both a try. I tried on the Stila in the store, so it was hard to get good coverage using the Q-Tip applicator they have.

Can you tell the difference? The Stila is on the left and Elf is on the right. I showed this to some of my family members and, while they guessed the Stila was on the left eye, they all thought the Elf actually looked better!

The verdict – Elf is definitely my favorite of these two. They look very similar but I think the Elf is brighter and stands out more.
