Take the HUMAN SCORE Test from Reebok! #BeMoreHuman
Did you see the Reebok “Freak Show” commercial during this year’s Super Bowl? If not (or even if you did), you can check it out HERE. I missed it but just had a chance to watch, and it really resonates with me. When I was younger, I participated in sports (tumbling, softball, cheerleading) and we did activities and practiced skills that made me better at those sports. As I got older, that discipline and training never transferred to something that would strengthen my body as a whole until one year ago. That’s when my friend became a co-owner of a CrossFit box.
I had heard about CrossFit – the negative and positive opinions. I knew I would enjoy it if I just had the time (and money) to get started. In December 2013, that opportunity came. The reason I mention this is because Reebok’s ad really stood out to me – our coach is always talking about “life skills” and being prepared to do what we need to do to survive including simple things like getting off the couch.
Reebok’s mission is to help every individual realize their full potential in the mental, physical and social aspects of their lives, by encouraging a fitness-focused life, and creating the products to perform in the toughest environments and activities.
According to The Human Score test, I’m a Sturdy Samaritan.
Sturdy Samaritans are determined to make the world a better place for all of us. For the most part, their actions get screened though a single filter: if it doesn’t have a positive impact or benefit, forget about it. Sturdy Samaritans believe that struggle and challenge only makes them stronger, and that countering temptation is just a matter of developing discipline. But if they do happen to find themselves going off track, Sturdy Samaritans have the inner strength and resolve to get themselves back on the right path. Sturdy Samaritans are moral compasses to us all.
You can take The Human Score test, too! Go HERE to check it out and share your results.
