I am not one who likes to spend a lot of time in the kitchen, so anything that makes my job a little easier, I’m all for it. So, I thought I would share with you all My Favorite Kitchen Items!
This tool is a life saver if you brown hamburger. Without it, I could never get the beef to be as small as I wanted and it seemed like it took so long.
I use this for everything – cutting pizza (of course) but even cutting waffles, pancakes, quesadillas, etc. It gets so much use in our house!
I use my Apple Corer/Slicer EVERY days. I love eating apples with peanut butter and granola for breakfast. It’s filling and so good! And, this gadget makes coring and cutting my apples SO quick and easy!
I had a cookie scoop on my Christmas list for a while thinking it would be nice to have but not something I needed or wanted to get right away….and then I bought myself one. Oh my goodness, I love it! They are awesome for not only scooping cookies, but for cupcakes, melon or other fruit balls, etc. They make the process so much quicker and smoother.
We almost exclusively cook with cast iron skillets now. I love how durable these pans are, the char the food gets and the way it cooks food. Once you go to cast iron, you can’t go back!
My husband pretty much only uses his Chef’s Knife now. It’s sharp, it does all the cuts he needs/wants to do. It’s a staple for cooking.

April 7, 2014 at 7:48 amI love Pampered Chef products too–the screw in corn holders are awesome too. You screw them into the end of the corn cob before cooking. They remain secure when you cook them in the pot and you just remove them after you are done eating–not like all those other flimsy corn holders.
