My favorite part is that you can easily include the whole family in the process of spreading cheer! My boys and I stopped by our local Target and picked up the Betty Crocker Peanut Butter Cookie Mix. There were so many to choose from, but Peanut Butter is their favorite. They love to help me in the kitchen, and you can imagine what that is like with a 3- and 5-year old…messy! My five year old actually does really well – he can crack an egg and loves to use my cookie scoop. The three year old wants to help but gets bored quickly so he usually ends up playing with his toys or watching a show.

I love my KitchenAid Mixer, even for easy tasks like this one and my boys love to see it work it’s magic. My five year old scooped the dough onto a cookie sheet before we popped them in the oven.
