Easy Cookies Recipe – Only 4 Ingredients!
Attention cookie lovers! I have the easiest, softest cookie recipe for you today…and, there are only 4 ingredients! Hence the name – Easy Cookies! All you need is a box cake mix (any flavor), baking chips (any flavor), vegetable oil or applesauce and eggs.
I have made these numerous times and always get compliments on them. What’s great is you can make a ton of different kinds. Go with your traditional chocolate chips with yellow, white, or chocolate cake mix. Or, use butterscotch chips with a white cake mix. Or, try white chocolate chips with a chocolate cake mix. Get creative! Pick up those holiday flavored baking chips when they go on clearance and use them up this way. Shortly after Christmas, I got red and green holiday mix morsels at Aldi for only $0.10 – they were perfect to separate and use to make Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day cookies!
Ingredients:
- 1 boxed cake mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil (or substitute applesauce)
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups baking chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Combine all ingredients and mix well.
- Drop dough onto ungreased cookie sheets. I love using my medium cookie scoop for this. Makes it so quick and easy.
- Bake 8-10 minutes.
- Let stand 2 minutes and cool completely.*
- Enjoy!
*They will be VERY soft so you really do need to let them cool completely if you want to get them off the cookie sheet.
Let us know what you think or if you try another combination!
